When asked if she followed her guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim to become a movie star, a teary-eyed Honeypreet said she never wanted to be an actor.

Honeypreet Insan, jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s angel and adopted daughter, has made many revelations in her exclusive interview to India Today.

When asked if she followed her guru Gurmeet Ram Rahim to become a movie star, a teary-eyed Honeypreet said she never wanted to be an actor. “There was no such thing. I did not want to be an actor. I always wanted to stay behind the camera,” Honeypreet told India Today.

Honeypreet has acted in all Ram Rahim’s movies. She was also a member of the Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA). Following the conviction of Ram Rahim in the rape cases, the Dera chief and his angel Honeypreet’s membership were cancelled by the association.

Honeypreet became a member of the Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association in March last year and was provided a life membership.

Earlier India Today reports had talked about how Honeypreet idolised actor Katrina Kaif and trained for hours in the gym to get a zero figure.

Honeypreet’s gym trainer had revealed to India Today that Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s favourite angel would often “break into a dance routine in the middle of her workout, especially on Katrina Kaif’s song from Dhoom 3”.

According to Honeypreet’s trainer, Gurmeet Ram Rahim would visit the same gym as his adopted daughter and the gym was “exclusively for Honeypreet”. “Her trainers were specially flown in from foreign countries,” the trainer said.

To get an hourglass figure like her idol Katrina Kaif, Honeypreet would spend more than three hours in the gym everyday and followed a strict diet plan, said the trainer.
