Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 24th match of the Vivo Indian Premier League at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday evening.

The two teams, clashing after two years, will try to prove their supremacy over the other. Dhoni’s CSK will try to beat their rivals to reach the top of the Vivo IPL table, while Kohli and his men will try to maintain the grip over their opponents in their home ground.

With the home team depending on the mighty AB de Villiers (who scored an unbeaten 90 off just 38 balls against Delhi Daredevils), skipper Kohli (57 against Rajasthan Royals and 92 against Mumbai Indians) and Quinton de Kock (who has scored 112 runs so far), the men in yellow have been proving in every match that they are the most successful IPL team ever.

With skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and other leading players including Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo, CSK has the ability to put a massive total or chase any target. The team’s deadly combinations have delivered victories even in the last ball of the tournament. Chennai has so far won four out of five matches they have played so far.

On the other hand, RCB that has won two of its five matches will be determined to win this evening to maintain the momentum.

Both the teams – one lead by a former Indian skipper and another by the current captain – will be banking on the experience of their captains – captain cool and captain fearless to make the opponents fear.
Match starts at 8 p.m.
