Politician-actor Pala Karuppiah, a former MLA, who recently acted as villain in Vijay’s Sarkar, has said that Vijay will surely enter politics.

In an interview to a Tamil daily, Pala Karuppiah said he was able to spend some good time with Vijay during Sarkar shoot and was able to sense that he will come to politics.

He said, “Vijay will surely enter politics. It is my opinion. I had an opportunity to spend some time with him during the shoot. He has a conviction. He told me that he wants to do something for all the love and affection he got from the people.”

He added, “At 40, he looks like a 20-year-old. He also has a unique and healthy body structure. He is very graceful. I don’t know if he will leave all that and jump into politics immediately. But I am sure, he will one day join politics.”

Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss has Vijay in the role of an NRI called Sundar Ramaswamy. The political thriller also stars Keerthy Suresh, Radha Ravi and Varalaxmi in pivotal roles.

The film is currently facing a backlash from AIADMK, who claim that Sarkar is depicting the party in a bad light.
