Arvind Kejriwal threatened again, call says he will be harmed soon

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received a threat call on Monday by an unidentified person claiming to the AAP chief could be “harmed soon”.

The phone call was made around 10.45 in the morning at the chief minister’s official residence. The police have traced the call to be from Vikaspuri in West Delhi. A probe has been initiated in the matter.

The caller said that there is a Vikas Tent House in Vikapuri where a person named Bhola who can harm Arvind Kejriwal. After this the person cut the call.

This is not the first Kejriwal has received a threat. Last week the CM office had received an anonymous email threatening to kidnap his daughter. The anonymous person in the email wrote, “We will kidnap your daughter. Save your daughter if you can.”

Three days later, a 24-year-old man was arrested on January 15. He wanted to draw the attention of a high-profile person in order to get better treatment for his psychiatric issues, police said.

In 2016, a person had called Delhi Police’s emergency number 100 and threatened that AAP chief will be shot dead as soon as he enters Delhi. Kejriwal was travelling by road from Chandigarh to Delhi at that time.
