French national who fell from moving train taken to Bengaluru

A French citizen, who had suffered head and shoulder injuries after a fall from a moving train on Tuesday, was taken to Bengaluru for further treatment.

74-year-old Cameroon was rescued by an alert engine pilot, Sujay, after he noticed the man lying on the railway track at Nanjundapuram on Tuesday. He was taken to the Government hospital in Coimbatore.

He reportedly fell of the Yashwanthpur Express when its door accidentally opened. His wife had lodged a missing complaint in Yeshwantpur, near Bengaluru.

With his condition fast improving, Cameroon’s daughter Jonah came to Coimbatore yesterday and took him to Bengaluru for further treatment.
