Nilgiris train services stay cancelled

The services of Nilgiris Mountin Rail between Mettupalayam and Coonoor were cancelled for the second day today between as a result of heavy rains and trees falling on the track.
The services remained cancelled yesterday also, As a result of the heavy downpour, several trees got uprooted along the track between Kallar and Hillgrove Stations, railway sources said.
The holiday crowd, particularly tourists, were very much disappointed being denied a travel on the heritage train.
