Relief measures not reaching beneficiaries, alleges Ramadoss

PMK founder-leader, S. Ramadoss, on Monday, alleged that the relief measures announced by the Government were not reaching the rain-affected people in the State.

Talking to reporters, Ramadoss, here to participate in the Party’s meeting, said that it appeared that the Government had not taken proper steps to tackle the rain-related problems.

People of Chennai and Cuddalore district, two places that bore the brunt of the rain, were angry, as the Government and officials did not seemed to be bothered to find a solution to their sufferings, he said.

Ramadoss also condemned the frequent increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.
