The Bharathiar University has invited applications for admission for its MCA program.

The Department of Computer Applications is also offering M.Phil and Ph.D programs to enrich the research activities in the areas including computer applications for concurrent engineering, data warehousing and mining, digital image processing, object oriented analysis and design, neutral networks, sort computing, embedded and real time operating system, a press release from the University said today.

The last date for submission of applications for the program is July 11.

The eligibility criteria for admission to MCA (lateral) is a pass in bachelors degree of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (computer science/computer technology/information technology) or equivalent degree with mathematics as a course at higher secondary level or at graduate level.

The candidate should have appeared for TANCET/Bharathiar University MCA entrance test, it said.

For those who have not written TANCET for MCA, Bharathiar University entrance test 2016 for MCA – lateral program will be held on July 20.

Candidates can download the application form from the website www.b-u.ac.in and submit the completed forms fro MCA-lateral program along with the application fees, it added.
