PSGiTech celebrated Dhaksha 2016, its second Annual Day function at the college premises recently.

The chief guest, N. Subramaninam, Vice President, Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Coimbatore, in his address, touched upon family values, patriotism, and role and responsibilities of engineers in the development of our country. He said, “Our country has the best resources, from Indra Nooyi to Sundar Pichai. People who excel in various fields around the world are from India. This is not just because they know English. It is also due to the education system, culture, and family system that we have here in India. You can go to any part of the world you want to, learn, and earn, but come back to teach the values and lessons learned to your younger generation.”

L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG Institutions distributed certificates of merit to deserving students and staff, acknowledging the students, faculty and staff of the college for their exemplary performance in their academic pursuits.

In his address, the Managing Trustee congratulated the staff and students for putting the college first among 523 non-autonomous engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Further, he outlined the infrastructural developments taking place in the campus and assured that the college will continue to induct qualified and experienced faculty.

Dr. P.V. Mohanram, Principal, PSGiTech, presented the annual report of the institution. The achievements of both students and staff were brought to light. Dr. G. Chandramohan, Vice Principal, PSGiTech, was also present.
