KKV Agro Powers to raise investments for expansion

KKV Agro Powers Ltd, a renewable energy generation and trading company based in Coimbatore, is listing its shares in the SME platform on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) to raise fund for capacity addition.
The company, part of the Chennai Silks and Sree Kumaran Thanga Maligai group, is raising Rs.3.50 crore and the face value of the shares is Rs.10, at a premium of Rs.310 per share. The issue closes on July 7.
In the company release, Company Secretary C. Renuka said that they are listing their shares in SME platform of the NSE on June 30, with encouragement from Narendra Modi government for renewable energy business. She added that the company is going for listing to add new windmill with its present capacity.
KKV has 6 MW of Wind Energy Generators and 1 MW of Solar Energy Generator. The power generated is supplied to big corporate houses.
