The PWF coordinator, Vaiko, today accused the Election Commission officials, especially the Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhani of failing to prevent the transportation of money to Andhra Pradesh, and said that the money for distribution to the constituencies have “already reached there” and are being “given to the voters daily at 4 am.”

“While distribution of money by AIADMK is known to all, the DMK is doing it scientifically,” he said.

Vaiko has extended the PWF’s support to the one-day farmers conference to be held at Palladam, Tirupur, on May 2. Assuring that only green flags, representing the farmers, will be hoisted at the venue, he said that there will be no party flags anywhere at the venue or atop vehicles.

Spotting a green turban, Vaiko said that he shall wear the green turban while attending any public function, as a reminder of the brutal attack on farmers during an agitation under the MGR regime.

He has also announced that the state will construct another dam at Mullaiperiyar, if negotiations with Kerala fail.
