With the special investigation team from Pakistan blaming the Central Government for not cooperating with the investigation in the Pathankot attack, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu has urged the Pakistani government to stop funding and aiding terrorism for the peaceful coexistence of the two countries.

Briefing mediapersons after a private meeting in Coimbatore, Venkaiah said that Pakistan should also leave the old habit of finding fault with India in one issue or the other. “India has submitted all the evidence regarding the attack and will continue to cooperate in future too,” he said.

Claiming that India can peacefully coexist with Pakistan if the latter puts a full stop to funding terrorism, the minister said that India is always willing to form a good relationship with Pakistan.

Condemning China’s move to block the proposal of arresting terrorist Masood Azhar, Venkaiah also called for a unity among world nations in the fight against terrorism. “The Prime Minister has raised the issue in the United Nations and it is high time that the foreign community understands the issue and fight against it with an iron fist. Today, it’s India, it could be another country tomorrow,” he warned.
