One of the parties to first announce its chief ministerial candidates, the Vanniyar-dominated Pattali Makkal Katchi
(PMK) is likely to announce its Assembly poll strategy at its conference to be held at Vandalur, on the outskirts of Chennai tomorrow.
PMK founder Dr. S. Ramadoss, his son and the party’s Chief Ministerial candidate, Anbumani Ramadoss will participate in the conference.
The conference was earlier scheduled to be held on February 14 at the VGP Grounds in Vandalur, but it was postponed after the Madras High Court issued a stay, following an appeal from the state government. The party was asked to pay a license fee to the court before conducting the meeting. They have also been instructed to clear the premises of the banners and billboards within a day of the event.
PMK is expected to announce certain crucial poll-related decisions at the meeting tomorrow.
