BJP National Secretary H. Raja today said that those who were disrespecting the Indian Constitution and tricolour had no right to stay in India and they were free to move out of the country.

Replying to a specific question on the issue of debate on national flag, Raja told reporters that some of the JNU students, including the daughter of CPI leader and MP D. Raja, had raised anti-national slogans and also wanted “to cut India into pieces”.

They also had celebrated the death anniversary of terrorist Afzal Guru and sang in glory of separatist Geelani. Such persons had no right to remain in India and should leave the country, Raja added.

The ongoing debate on hoisting of the national flag as seen on various news channels was not necessary and also wrong, he said, adding that this amounted to the contravention of the Constitution.

On alliance for Tamil Nadu polls, he said that it was yet to be finalised and would be announced in a few days.

Raja also blamed the AIADMK government for not taking up any development works in Tamil Nadu, including linking of rivers.
