Three candidates have secured first rank in the examinations held for admission for Under Graduate courses in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (T.N.A.U).
S. Dheeneshwar of Namakkal, R. Dhatchinamoorthy of Tiruchirapalli, and R. Manoj Kumar from Ramanathapuram secured the first three ranks by scoring 199.75 marks.
Vice Chancellor Dr. K. Ramasamy, after releasing the results, said that this year, the T.N.A.U. had received 36,322 applications for the 13 U.G. programs, including the 2,600 seats for B.Sc. Two candidates received 199.50 mark, and four scored 199.25, he said.

Academic Counselling starts from June 27 for Special Quota (Sports, Ex-Servicemen, Differently-abled, and freedom fighter). The first phase of counselling (General Quota) will start from July 4.
The first year undergraduate course will start from August 1.
