The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) will organise a one-day training programme on the mass production and application of biological control agents, like insects, in farming, on February 11. The programme is aimed at farmers, farm women, entrepreneurs, youth, and homemakers with kitchen gardens.
Participants will be taught about the use of common biological control agents like parasitoids, predators, and entomopathogens. There will also be practical lessons on the mass production and application of bio-control agents.
Certificates will be given to all participants.
Interested students must register before February 5, along with a fee of Rs.750, for the course.
