After Delhi family’s mass suicide, their pet dog dies of heart attack

New Delhi: Tommy, pet dog of Bhatia family, whose eleven members ended their lives in a mass suicide, died of heart attack at a shelter in Delhi on Monday. He was suffering from anxiety, depression and high fever.

Tommy was found on the terrace tied to the same iron grill from which the members hung themselves, reports MirrorNowNews.com.

The police had rescued Tommy from the terrace and shifted him to a shelter. According to MirrorNowNews.com. Tommy was extremely aggressive and was suffering from high fever. They could not handle him as he was very aggressive. However, he was later shifted to a shelter run by Sanjay Mohapatra.

Despite the experts’ effort to improve Tommy’s health at the shelter, Tommy died of heart attack on Sunday, it is reported.

The dog could never really recover from the shock of losing his family, Mohapatra told MirrorNowNews.com.
