It was the communist party who always shouted on intolerance and fascism under Modi regime but an incident of severe fascism has been reported from Kerala were an IPS officer has been stripped from her duty by the Chief Minister directly.

Young IPS officer Chaithra Teresa John who raided the communist party office in Thiruvanthapuram has been stripped of from her post within few hours of the raid by the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan directly. When the Sabarimala pilgrimage season was at its peak last month, She was given additional charge as Deputy Commissioner of Police in the state capital.

She antagonized Communist party leaders while pursuing a case in which the youth activists of the party were involved in attacking the police station when the police arrested two DYFI workers who got involved in a case registered under the POCSO Act.

After receiving an information that the culprits are hiding inside the CPI-M district office here, she went there but could not find anyone there. Earlier, Teresa John took a strong stand against eight state government employees belonging to a Left union who are now in jail for vandalizing a State Bank of India branch here on January 9 as part of a nationwide strike.

It is quite contrary that a women IPS officer was transferred for doing her duty in a state where the state government itself sponsored for women empowerment wall earlier this month.
