Sridevi fell into bathtub and died drowning, says autopsy report

Sridevi, one of the most loved film celebrities, died of drowning in Dubai on February 24, according to the autopsy report.

The actor was found dead by her husband Boney Kapoor in the bathtub at the hotel room on Saturday night. The family, including their daughter Khushi, was staying in the hotel. Sridevi was in Dubai to attend her nephew’s wedding. Her brother-in-law and actor Sanjay Kapoor was the first to break the news about her death to the media.

The death of Sridevi, 54, has left everyone in a state of shock.

The autopsy report confirmed that the cause of her death was accidental drowning.

According to the `Gulf News’ report, she was under the influence of alcohol, lost her balance, fell into the bathtub and drowned. Her mortal remains are expected to arrive in India this evening by a private jet owned by Reliance Transport and arranged by Anil Ambani.
