Indian Premier League, started a decade ago, has been getting tougher over the years. Eight teams, some with not much experienced players, make an impact as they race to be in that final slot.

The 11th edition, which has just got under way, has surprisingly witnessed a few one-sided matches, something very different from the previous years. All teams have played a minimum of four matches each so far with KKR sitting pretty at top with a net run rate of +0.825 followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI and CSK. It is only the 17th game of the tournament and the number of sixes hit has already crossed the 250-mark, thanks to the lightweight bats and changing rules where players can now easily clear the ropes.

It will be super weekend with high octane games between Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab at the Eden Gardens followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils.

Kings XI coming fresh after a win over Sunrisers will look to step up further to boost the chances of making it to the playoffs.

Knight Riders, who are already well-seated, will look to enthrall the crowd of Kolkata. They would be praying, especially after Chris Gayle wreaked havoc with his stupendous batting the other day. On the other hand, RCB and DD will look to win desperately since they have had tough luck .Delhi is right at the bottom of the table with three losses from four games.
