Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan joint political journey unlikely

Covai Post Network

It is not reel life, it is real life observed superstar Kamal Haasan and said a political alliance with Rajinikanth is not something akin to making a starcast for a film. It has to be well thought out by himself as also by Rajinikanth, said Kamal Haasan in his weekly signed article in the Ananda Vikatan magazine.

Devoting space this time to the speculation that the two stars if united could become a potent political force, Kamal Haasan said often he faced the question whether he would join hands with Rajinikanth in their political journey, much like the few films they had done together. They had gone to become big hits and their fans would love them to deliver superhit performance in electoral politics too.

“In each person’s mind a separate story is played out. It is the policies of a political party that would decide what is good for the people. Leaving that, one cannot play a game with names,” Haasan said.

Like Haasan, Rajinikanth also announced his decision to float a political party and contest in assembly elections. He had maintained suspense if he would join hands with Kamal Haasan.

But first both the superstars are yet to form political parties and declare their policies. Before that it cannot be said as to who stands for what and where

Which is why, they must wait and their fans must hold back till these things get clear.

Political analysts rule out a Rajikanth-Kamal Haasan political starrer as Kamal took a left of the centre position and Rajinikanth speaks of spiritual politics, hinting at tilting towards the BJP. For the record, Kamal Haasan had declared that he will have nothing to do with the BJP.
