‘Benefits of digital revolution should reach poor’

KOCHI: The benefits of digital revolution should reach the poor and marginalised sections of the society, Congress leader Chennithala said here on Friday.
Addressing the valedictory function of the two-day Future Digital Summit, he said Kerala, which had set up country’s first IT park, could guide the country in digital sector.
Union Minister Alfons Kannanthanam delivered keynote address.
About 2000 delegates attended the summit, where 30 experts delivered lectures.
Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan said another summit would soon be held in Kerala. Nasscom President R Chandrashekhar, IT Secretary M Sivasankaran and KPMG India Chairman Arun Kumar spoke.
