Explosive material seized from lorry in Malappuram

Kochi: Explosive materials were unearthed from a lorry in Kondotty in Malappuram district in the wee hours today. Two persons in the lorry were detained.
The explosives, including gelatin sticks, were hidden under gunny bags containing poultry excrement used as manure, police said.The seizure was made, following a tipoff.
The explosives were being taken to a godown which is being raided by the police and it was believed that large quantity of explosives were being stored there.
