Sreejit case: Rural SP George shunted out

Kannur: The rural SP of Aluva A V George has been shunted out in connection with the custodial death of Sreejit.
He has been transferred to Police academy, Thrissur. Rahul R Nair has been posted in his place.
The Station House Officer of Varapuzha police station where Sreejit was taken was arrested yesterday.
Three other cops under him were arrested in connection with the death earlier.
Sreejit was detained by police in connection with instigating suicide of a person in Varapuzha in Kochi. There were also reports that Sreejit was arrested due mistaken identity.
