City based business school bags first place in National Student Management Games

Coimbatore : The city-based GRG School of Management represented by E.Priyadarshini, B.P.Yashwanthi, Reema Ann Mohan and N. Karthie Priya has wonthe first prize in the 22 National Student Management Games (NSMG) for Business Schools.

While SGT University, Gurgaon, won the Second place (Gojanand Sharma, Nicky Bhatnogar, Simran and.Rishabh Singh), Pacific Institute of Management, Udaipur, bagged the third place, represented by Aman Shrimal, Praghati Khandelwal, Manisha Jethi and Shivani Jain.

All India Managemeny Association (AIMA) has organized the Games, the prestigious and Pan-India annual business simulation competition which is for business school students, a AIMAA release said on Sunday.

The SMG is played on indigenously developed software called “Chanakya” which is a proprietary Business Simulation Software and more than 175 teams from 44 different institutions from all over India have competed in the SMG 2018.

Regional rounds were conducted in Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, New Delhi, Bengaluru and Coimbatore and the Southern regional Round and the three-day All India Final was held at here from November 21.

The a finals were held at Firebird Institute of Research in Management here last night, with 15 teams qualified from various regional round participating.

The prizes for the winners were distributed late last night, the release said.
