One held for stealing two-wheelers; 5 vehicles recovered

City police arrested one person involved in stealing two-wheelers and five of the vehicles were recovered on Wednesday.

The arrested was identified as Saravanan of Kanuvai, near here.

Police said that Saravanan had stolen three two-wheelers in the Race Course police station limits from Veerasamy, S Adhisayaraj and Palaniyappan and two from Elango and Paulraj from the Saibaba Colony station limits.

Police said five of the vehicles were recovered and probe was on to ascertain his role in such operation in other parts of the city. He is to be produced in court and remanded soon, they added.
