PSGR Krishnammal College Lifts up Overall Championship at 41st Bharathiar University Inter-collegiate Athletic Meet

The 41st Bharathiar University Inter-collegiate Athletic Meet took place on December 19th and 20th, 2023 at Nehru Stadium, organized by Bharathiar University.
Athletes of PSGR Krishnammal College
participated in 21 athletic events and achieved remarkable results. They secured 8 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals, and 5 Bronze Medals, earning a total of 149 points.
This outstanding performance led to the college winning the overall Championship for the year 2023, with a significant lead of nearly 100 points over other colleges, who scored below 50 points.
Mr. Nizamuddin, a former International Athlete, Asian Medalist, and Indian Railways coach, graced the event as the chief guest and distributed the medals and certificates.Notably,the college’s athlete Angel Sylvia – II BA His. set a new meet record in the 200 meters event.
The Department of Physical Education and Sports students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the college management for their unwavering financial and academic support, which played a crucial role in this success.
