As the matter was reported to authorities, Chief Education Officer S Murugan arrived at the school and conducted an inquiry with 30 senior students today.

The inquiry revealed that the five students, studying in class 11 and 12 were behind the episode, and two of them were reportedly drunk and others were smoking in the campus, police said.
