The festival of colors is round the corner and it’s time to prep up for the most joyous day of the year. With multiple colors splashing in the air, water balloons exploding everywhere, the day is full of fun and frolic. Unlimited food and beverages, spectacular outdoor decorations, the epic Holi songs and loud music, dance and drama, the day has all the elements for a totally crazy party!

Amid all this, one thing that really needs a lot of consideration is the attire you are going to wear to keep the entertainment on without any wardrobe malfunctions. Not just a coincidence, but when we think of Holi Images, we think of a white background smeared with all shades of colour. No wonder, the standard Holi attire has been a white churidar and kurta for male and female. But ofcourse, we want to break the stereotype, and introduce more fun in terms of colour and attire. The clothing that you decide to wear should ensure a worry free Holi and be absolutely comfortable in playful games and activities. I know this can be a task in itself, looking for that perfect attire, but worry not. Krina Panjwani Brand Head of Indian Ink
lists down four most popular outfits for the Holi that will make you look utterly stylish and relaxed at the same time:

1.The Evergreen Kurti-Churidaar: Adorned on every Holi, a beautiful lucknowi kurti with complementing churidar and duppatta makes for a stunning Holi outfit. Designed in attractive colors, this embroidery on a layered (double lining) Anarkali will look gorgeous and create all the desired ethnic vibes. Team this up with a funky stole or a scarf to save your hair from any damage and rock the complete ensemble

2.The Classy Palazzo-Ethnic Crop Top: A flared Palazzo Pant in bright print and color together with a harmonizing ethnic crop top will make for a spectacular Holi outfit. Set this up with metal or plastic bangles and burst with all the bubbly sensations. Long palazzos are airy, comfortable and will dry out soon. Make sure you wear one in thick but light fabric, otherwise they will become bulky and stick to the skin when doused with water

3.The Blithe Kurti-Patiala Pants:For all the carefree ladies out there, this brilliant combination is perfect for Holi. With trendy colored patiala pants, pair an asymmetrical long tunic top and add a hand embroidered short jacket as a protective layer. Let your hair open and accessorize it with some oxidized jewelry to make an apt indo-western fusion

4.The Chic Cotton Pants-Tunics: This casual yet fashionable outfit is a perfect wear for Holi. Comfortable cotton narrow fit pants and a fitted short kurti or a tunic looks very girly and appealing at the same time. Team it up with a printed bandana and a cool fashion statement this Holi!
