Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani on Friday said that the BJP would intensify its protest against the Left throughout the country.

Flagging off the Janaraksha Yatra at Pattanamthitta, Smriti said the Left was dreaming of crushing the Sangh activists by terrorising them. “Their dreams will never become a reality. Around 11 crore BJP members are behind the Sangh Parivar in Kerala alone,” the Minister said and added that the party cadres would prefer to give their lives rather than surrendering to opponents.

“It is shocking to hear that more than 80 people have lost their lives in Kannur. Three women were killed just because they were loyal to BJP. This is the state of affairs in God’s own country,” Smriti said.

Kerala unit President of BJP Kummanam Rajashekharan received the flag in the presence of senior leaders.
