Kochi: Nipah virus continued to claim lives with one more person Abin, 26, falling prey to the infection at Kozhikkode today.
Abin was under treatment at a private hospital. With this the total number of death has gone up to 13.
A total of 15 persons were infected with the disease out of them 13 perished while two are under intensive care. A total of 12 persons are undergoing treatment with suspected nipah infection.
