Rail passenger injured as miscreants pelt stones

A passenger of Allepey–Dhanbad Express was injured on Tuesday when miscreants pelted stones at the train near Irugur.

According to police, miscreants pelted stones at the train when it was on its way to Somanur from Irugur. Kanna Rao G (38), from Godavari East, Andhra Pradesh, suffered an injury in his forehead. He was later treated at Erode Railway Station and he continued his journey.

The Railway Protection Force has registered a case and are investigating.
