Childline submitted the video clippings to the police on April 26 but had failed to act against the accused. These were given to Childline by theatre owners. POSCO has been imposed on Kutty and the minor’s mother who had reportedly facilitated Kutty to abuse her on earlier occasions.

The two were arrested and produced in the court which remanded them. Earlier, Superintendent of Police Debeshkumar Behara of Malappuram had suspended Baby after media flashed the story. DySP Shaji Varghese is probing the case.
