Kottayam: Suspended DGP Jacob Thomas today likened Kerala to a seriously injured person.

Jacob Thomas said that this was stated by late writer Sukumar Azhikkode in 2008 which is more relevant now. It was after a long silence Jacob has opened up against the government.

Apparently referring to the rape and murder of a Latvian woman in Thiruvananthapuram and custodial death of Sreejit in Kochi, he said that a person walking on the beach is killed while another person is woken up and killed.

Kerala has become dormant and has forgotten to react. The reactions are confined to social media.

It was his speech on poor law and order that landed him in trouble as he was suspended from service.
