Vice-President Naidu takes ride in Kochi Metro

Kochi: Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu took a trip in Kochi Metro today, boarding from Maharajas College Ground and travelling up to Edappally.

He mingled freely with elders and children on the train and later took a naval helicopter to Tiruvalla.

State Minister Mathew T Thomas, DGP Loknath Behera, Ernakulam Collector Mohammad Y Zaffirullah, IG Vijay Sakhre and Kochi City police commissioner M P Dinesh were there to see him off.

Earlier, Naidu went for a morning walk at Subhash Chandra Bose Park where he talked to common people and scavengers.
