A Bengaluru-based start-up would conduct workshops on robotics in rural schools in the country.

According to A. Santhosh, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of QtPi, the firm plans to conduct the workshop for children in the age group between 6 and 16. “We are trying to reach rural children through crowd-funding.

These kids are not exposed to robotics. The workshops would help in creating progressive minds. The difference between creativity and innovation would reach the children at a very young age,” he said.

QtPi, founded by Jaison Leon, Raghunath Babu Are and Anto Jerlin, comprises experts, veterans from software industry, mechatronics and integrated chip industry.

QtPi is also known for their building-blocks kit which consists of building blocks, electronics components, a plug and play software. Children could come out with unlimited possibilities such as remote control car, line follower, conveyor belt and so on.

“Our building blocks kit is cheaper and it is also much feasible, comparing with other similar products in the market. This will make the learning process much easier,” Santhosh added.
