`Blue Whale’ claims life of second teenager in Kerala?

Kochi: Close on the heels of a teenager suspectedly falling prey to Blue Whale game, another is believed to have succumbed to the killer game in Kannur in north Kerala.
An ITI student Sawant, 17, ended his life in May by hanging, his mother told police. He would be on internet throughout the night and had untimely sleep and food habits, the mother said.
The parents had their single child to a number of counseling centres. The advice given was that the boy needed to sleep beside his mother so as to help him overcome the abnormal behaviour.
But all that appeared to have had little impact as the boy cut his hand, feet and chest with sharp-edged object.
He once went missing and was found on the sea bridge from where he had thrown his bag and books.
