Report on Jallikattu violence to be out in six to seven months

The commission inquirying into the Jallikattu protest violence across the State will submit its report in another six to seven months.
The commission, headed by Retired Madras High Court Judge, S Rajasekaran was here today to inquire about the protest held during Jallikattu agitation in January in the city.
Rajasekaran told reporters here that the report will be submitted in another six to seven months, even as the term was ending by October 31.
A total of 51 persons, including students had filed their affidavits before the commission, who are called for deposing before it, he said.
If necessary, these persons will be cross examined during the three-day sitting, Rajasekaran said.
Police have already submitted the photographs and videos as evidence of the protest and violence in VOC Park Grounds, the venue of the Jallikattu protest.
