Kin held for rape, murder of seven-year-old

Thiruvananthapuram: A 27-year-old relative was arrested on Thursday in connection with the rape and murder of a 7-year-old near Kollam.
The second standard student went missing on Wednesday, police said.
On inquiry it was found that she was picked up from the school by her relative Rajesh.The body was found in a rubber estate at Kulathupuzha.According to police the accused admitted killing the child by strangulation.
