Brookefields Mall goes the Khadi way to observe Gandhi Jayanthi

To commomerate Gandhi Jayanthi, Brookefields mall has embarked upon an initiative to encourage the use of Khadi ,by organising ‘Brookefields Khadi Day on Oct 2nd.
All mall visitors wearing Khadi will get exciting gifts at the Special Khadi Zone to be set up at Central Atrium.
The students of Apparel and Fashion Design ,PSG College of Technology , have been provided with an opportunity to display products such as earrings, wallets and wall hangings made of Khadi.
As Khadi is synonymous toIndian independence movement ,symbolises high values, freedom, self-reliance and self-confidence ,this initiative is to promote Khadi amongst the present generation. The beautiful handspun and hand woven fabric can be used to make various products from garments to accessories to art and craftswork, a release said.
