DMK Working President M.K. Stalin on Tuesday said that he was ready to face any sedition charges, as registered against the sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dinakaran.
Talking to reporters in Coonoor, the DMK leader said he had been criticising the State Government for long time and that there was a possibility of the Edappadi Government filing a sedition case against him. “I am ready to face the charge if it is filed,” he said.
Stalin also said that cases against the Chief Minister and State Ministers Vijayabhaskar, K.A. Sengottiayan and Sellur Raju, in connection with distribution of Rs. 89 crores among voters in the RK Nagar constituency in Chennai should be expedited.
On the increasing number of Dengue cases, the DMK leader alleged that instead of initiating steps to control the spread of the disease, the Chief Minister and the Ministers were busy in safeguarding their positions.
