Actor abduction case: Rimi Tomy appears in court

Actor-cum-singer Rimi Tomy on Thursday appeared before the Additional First Class Judicial Magistrate Court at Kothamangalam in Kochi in connection with the February 17 actor abduction case.
Rimi, a close friend of actor Dileep – who was granted bail three days ago – gave details about her friendship with the actor, her trips to other countries to stage cultural shows along with Dileep and also about the confrontation between Dileep and the abducted actor.
(In 2013, during a rehearsal, Dileep had a confrontation with the actor at a hotel in MG Road in Ernakulam. Rimi and several other stars had witnessed the ugly spat.)
Police probing the abduction case had earlier questioned Rimi over phone.
