In an interaction with the students of various colleges,
including Bharthiar University

and Law College, Stalin said that Lok Ayukta would be appointed in TamilNadu, once DMK
came to power in the 2016 Assembly elections. As part of providing a corruption-free Government, DMK would
definitely constitute a Lok Ayukta, he said.

Blaming AIADMK Government for not taking any initiative to start any industry in
the State, which had led to unemployment, he said that nearly 85 lakh persons had
registered in employment exchange and were waiting for jobs.

He said that the ruling party had shelved many projects initiated by
DMK Government, for fear of his party getting credit for the success.
Many students expressed their suggestion that Tamil should be introduced in medical
and engineering colleges.

Stalin, here on his second leg of Namukke Naame (We for Ourselves) campaign,
said that his campaign was not political but to feel the pulse of the

people, listen to their grievances, after which he would suggest the grievances to be included for solution the Party’s Manifesto for the Assembly elections.

Stalin said that a committee, under former minister, T.R. Baalu was formed to come
out with the manifesto, which was in the process of incorporating all problems.

He said that many parties, particularly ruling party, have started
closely monitoring
his campaign, as they felt that this had started creating awareness among the people.

“This campaign has created a situation, where politicians will come and meet the public, instead of people waiting for politicians to solve their problems,” he said.

Stating that DMK ministers and Chief Minister would be accessible
to people in the shortest possible time and there was no need for waiting, Stalin
said, adding that it would be unlike the present Chief Minister, who was not bothered to give audience to the
citizens.

Moreover, even ministers and officials were afraid to meet the
public, for fear of losing

their jobs or getting transferred, Stalin said.
