Doordarshan show on Puducherry uniqueness

Coimbatore: An initiative to bring out exciting facts about Puducherry will see the French town witness a new show `Good Evening Puducherry’. The show will be aired by Puducherry Doordarshan and will revolve around the French colony history, art, culture and traditional food habits of the place.
Doordashan Director General Supriya Sahu, IAS, along with her team called on Lt Governor Kiran Bedi at Raj Nivas today and spoke about taking steps to create infrastructure for satellite mode of telecast from the terrestrial mode being done now.
The time slot allocated for the exclusive `Good Evening Puducherry’ show has been allocated from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Puducherry Doordarshan is the brainchild behind the creation of the show.
