Trade bodies welcome CM’s announcement of aviation fuel

Coimbatore: The Kongu Global Forum (KGF) an association basically formed for business connectivity of seven districts of Western part of Tamil Nadu, today welcomed the announcement of Chief minister, Edpadi K Palaniswami on giving tax concession on aviation fuel to facilitate night halt.

The announcement will help promoting late arrival and early departure of flights from Coimbatore International Airport, A Shaktivel, Chairman of KGF, working to improve air connectivity considering the present passengers and air cargo movement, said in a statement here.

The move will increase the business activities both domestic and international and improve the economy of Western parts of Tamil Nadu, he said.

Meanwhile, President of local chapter of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vanitha Mohan also welcomed the announcement.
