Coimbatore to get new buses

Coimbatore: The State Government has provided 430 new buses to the state corporation of which some have been allocated to Coimbatore.
In the last three days, 128 new buses reached depots and another 58 are expected next week. Coimbatore region has been allotted 41 buses in the first stage. Tirupur 3, Erode and Udhagamandalam 18 each.
The new buses will have 52 seats with extra cushion and backrest. The old buses have 57 seats. The seats have been reduced in to provide more leg space.
New buses were designed with lots of advanced features like emergency exit and more luggage space. They have Bharat Stage IV to ensure low emission.
They will be in service soon after the government announcement.
