830 kg tobacco products seized in Coimbatore

Coimbatore : Food Safety officials on Monday seized 830 kg of banned tobacco products from a godown at Telugupalaya in the city.
On a tip off, the officials reached the godown of one Chinnadurai last night and sealed it, police said.
The officials went to the godown this morning and found 830 kg of tobacco products, including gutka and pan masala, worth over Rs 8 lakh, stored in bags.
