Physical assault accused seeks probe in audio tape

Coimbatore : ‘Bar’ Nagaraj, one of the accused in the assault case in the sensational Pollachi sexual harassment, Monday denied that the voice in the audio where a woman was threatened to withdraw a cheating case was not his. The police should investigate this thoroughly, he said.

The audio tape has gone viral since yesterday., Referring to CBI taking over the Pollachi sexual harassment case, Nagaraj, who was expelled from AIADMK immediately after the assault incident, said that this could be a part of the drama and conspiracy to involve him in the case.

As the audio was released the next day after a media person belonging to a Tamil journal talked to him, he (Nagaraj) in the petition sought to probe the role of the journalist and also the woman..

Police has assured him to take necessary action, he said.

Nagaraj is on bail, after he was arrested in the physical attack on the brother of the 19-year old victim in the Pollalchi sexual harassmenht case.
