3 of a family killed, daughter escape with minor injuries

Coimbatore : A couple and their 6-year-old son were killed, when the motorcycle on which they were travelling dashed against a lorry near Avanashi in Tirupur district in the early hours of Friday.
However, their 3-year-old daughter escaped with minor injuries, police said.
Ramesh, along with his wife Selvi and two children, residents of Sulur, were returning home from Gudiyatham in Vellore disrict, when the accident occured, they said.
While the son Eswaran died on the spot, Ramesh and Selvi died without responding to treatment in Avanashi Government Hospital.
