Amrita invites application for M.Tech

Coimbatore : Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has invited applications for 33 of its newly introduced specializations for M.Tech 2019 programme across its three campuses at Kollam Amritapuri, Coimbatore and Bangalore.
Direct admissions are given to candidates who are GATE-qualified, or having relevant work experience for more than 2 years in the industry, or having more than 8.5 CGPA in the academics, or those who have passed out from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham with more than 7 CGPA, a release said
Those applicants who do not belong to these categories are given admissions based on telephonic interviews conducted by the respective departments in which they wish to opt their M.Tech specialization.
Apart from scholarships that are provided for GATE-qualified candidates, meritorious students are given scholarships of upto Rs 5000
per month based on marks scored on state level entrance examinations or at the graduation level.
